Owner, Trick Dog | San Francisco, CA
Josh Harris is owner of the San Francisco bar Trick Dog and founder of the nationally recognized drinks marketing, development, and trade advocacy agency, The Bon Vivants. Trick Dog opened in 2013 to high acclaim. The many awards Josh Harris’ first bar received include “The World’s Best Cocktail Menu” and “Best American Bar Team” at Tales of the Cocktails Spirited Awards; a James Beard Foundation Award finalist nod for Outstanding Bar Program; inclusion on the 2014-2019 World's 50 Best Bars list; and the honor of being the only establishment of its kind in the Bay Area to receive a three-star review from San Francisco Chronicle’s then-restaurant critic, Michael Bauer. In 2020, Harris founded Quik Dog, a fast-casual younger sibling of Trick Dog focused on burgers, hot dogs, and great drinks, soon to be opened in an exciting new permanent home. The Bon Vivants offers international beverage consulting and has worked with brands like Tequila Ocho, Ancho Reyes, and the first non-alcoholic distilled spirit, Seedlip. Sober since 2003, Harris is an advisor for ALTR, an alcohol nanotechnology reduction company, and is a strong advocate for raising the bar for non-alcoholic drinking. He graduated from San Francisco's St. Ignatius College Preparatory School and then summa cum laude with a degree in politics from the University of San Francisco. @TrickDogBar @bonvivants_sf
