Head of Food & Beverage Strategy, NuovoRE| Denver, CO

Megan Gray Stromberg is head of food & beverage strategy for NuovoRE. She is a born and bred restaurateur from ski country Colorado with twenty-four years of food and beverage experience across a spectrum of independent restaurants and entrepreneurial endeavors to corporate hotels and hospitality consulting. Megan grew up around nine family-owned restaurants in Breckenridge, Colorado before following her father’s footsteps and graduating from Cornell’s Hotel School. Her progression in the industry is considered very fast and extremely impressive. At an early age and with zero brand experience, she became Director of Food and Beverage at The St. Regis flagship property in New York and after two years became opening director of food and beverage at The St. Regis Atlanta. Returning to Colorado in 2012, she asset managed the family business and got heavily involved with charitable causes, serving on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for the Colorado Restaurant Association from 2013-2018 and as president of Les Dames d'Escoffier Colorado Chapter. In 2014, Megan and her husband Chris opened their own establishment, The BARley Colorado Craft & Draft in Steamboat Springs, a 76-seat operation focused on Colorado driven beers, which was featured in The New York Times in 2015, and successfully sold in November 2017. Since 2012, Megan has worked closely with Craft House Consulting on projects involving concept development, operating and financial strategies, training and development with a variety of impressive media and hospitality groups. Before joining NuovoRE in March of 2021, she held leadership positions at The Battery, a modern era social club and for Vail Resorts and is currently on the Board of Directors for The WELL, a wellness concept and membership community.
